Direct hire opportunity for a Company Payables clerk for a large independent insurance agency with their corporate office in central San Diego area. Position is responsible for compiling and maintaining carrier accounts payable records. Processes checks, generates monthly reports, and acts as liaison between the agency and insurance companies. Client prefers prior Insurance carrier or agency experience handling company or premium payables. They will also consider candidates without insurance accounting experience but will require a stable job history and experience with large volume (transactions) in A/P. Effective January 1, 2013, AB 1396 requires ALL California employers to use written commission agreements that set forth the method by which commissions are computed and paid.
