A message from our President, Julie Brown…
25 years ago, I had the idea of doing temp work, specifically temping myself out to agencies and brokerages that could use my insurance experience. I shared the idea with my mother-in-law and she encouraged me not to just send myself out as a temp, but to own my own temp agency. With the support of my husband and family, I started San Diego Insurance Temps in 1995 out of our home. Although the company has grown and the name has changed over the years from San Diego Insurance Temps to San Diego Insurance Staffing and eventually SDI Staffing, the company vision of supporting the insurance industry and helping people find the right career path has not.
As I reflect on the past 25 years, I’m so grateful to everyone who has helped me get here — my loyal clients after all these years, my staff who has put up with me and my crazy ideas, our temporary employees and candidates who trusted us to help with their job searches, my husband and family that stood by me and endured my 24/7 work and stress modes, and my mother-in-law who helped my original vision become larger than expected. I am forever grateful for all of your support and look forward to many more years in
business!
In celebration of our 25 years, our team will continue to give back to our community and the insurance industry by volunteering with various charities. We’ve also updated our company logo and are asking past clients and candidates to share their memories of working with us. Thank you again for your encouragement and support! We hope you like our new look!
